How can I prevent bumping?

I am boiling a solution under a vacuum and need a way to get a more even boil. Boiling rocks don't work under a vacuum, and unfortunately the only container I can use is stainless steal, so a magnetic stirrer doesn't work well either. Are there other ways I can prevent bumping, or is there a way to make the magnetic stirrer work?
