What's the future for NASA?

I went last weekend to the Space Center and I heard funding was cut for Nasa and that there's only going to be one more launch for the space shuttle. And also that the U.S.is going to jump on the Russians wagon to space now. WTF!! It pisses me off, I would of loved to see more space explorations. We were #1 now were way behind. They rather fund money to WARS and stupid **** like that than rather expand humanity as a whole. I'm going to college right now to be an engineer and my dream was to work for Nasa and be part of space exploration, but now it seems like there's gonna be a few projects the coming years. It's heartbreaking......
