What kind of metal should I get in an earring post?

Get silver or gold to try out. Always get your ears pierced with something high quality/ more expensive, because its your first time getting earrings and if you have sensitive skin you never know what could happen. When you get them pierced id do gold, just because people dont often have sensitivities to it, and you can always change it next month and see what else works for you. If you hate gold or never wear gold jewelery then do silver because its almost as good for your ears. Just make sure for the first time you don't go with the cheapest earrings because you are stuck with them for a month (unless you take them out and ruin your piercing)
