The first poem I ever wrote - feedback?

I've read several of your poems and to be honest, I'd rather see you write about ponies and unicorns and fairies. You're a good writer but there's a lack of connection with the subject matter. There's no passion, no emotion. It's all matter of fact and comes across as stale. Not trying to be harsh, just try writing something that's more youthful.
