Will there be a new Halo coming out?

I heard that Bungie sold their Halo franchise to some company and that they will be making a new Halo. I have heard that it might be a re-made Halo Combat Evolved or after Halo 3. I have heard that it is coming out this year. Is any of this true? Yes, there could be a Halo after Halo 3. Master Chief didn't die. He went MIA and set out a beacon for someone to find him. He froze himself to keep him preserved for his next battle. Some of the Profits are still alive. So, there definitely could be a Halo after Halo 3!
