Is this Obama’s vision for “Hope and Change”?

I live in California, the beacon of progressive politics in America, I just paid $341.00 (up from $296.00 last year) to register my Pontiac G8. My uncle, who lives in Idaho and has the same car, just paid $81.00 and he said that was unusually high. Are high taxes and fees what liberals “Hope” to aspire to for our future?
